Overview

Our office, North Denver Dental and Implants, is a well established private practice. Recently there has been a transition of ownership, with the previous owner retiring after 40 years, and a new solo doctor taking over. Our intention is to grow the office while maintaining a focus on quality care and the patient experience. We are a tight knit team and are here to support each other as well as grow clinically.

We are looking for someone who is:

This role is ideal for an EDDA who enjoys working closely with the doctor and wants to use their clinical skills at a high level

Benefits: $28-32/hr depending on experience, paid holidays, PTO (after 1 year), 401k with 3.5% match and health benefits, supportive and respectful work environment. We work Monday-Thursday, no evenings weekends or Fridays

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Assist the doctor during a wide variety of procedures such as fillings, RCT, extractions, implants, crowns
  • Take X-rays, as well as intraoral scans for crowns
  • Fabricating and cementing temporary crowns, cementing permanent crowns
  • Keeping track of supplies, ordering
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout procedures, ensuring safety standards are maintained.
  • Educate patients on dental terminology, post-operative care, and preventive practices to promote oral health awareness.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
  • Implant experience would be a strong plus, but willingness to learn is equally valid
  • Ability to place and adjust fillings independently, including class II and class III restorations.
  • Able to intelligently communicate treatment plans to patients and make them feel at ease
  • Willingness to be a team player and help out wherever needed
