Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory assessments-covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols with care.
Ensure the integrity of your results by analyzing accuracy, troubleshooting discrepancies, and performing routine maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
Provide assistance in specimen collection and prepare samples for the necessary processes.
Document every procedure meticulously, take the initiative to train newcomers, and be an advocate for lab quality standards.
Foster a safe and pristine work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, and preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective teamwork within the healthcare setting.
A keen eye for detail and proficiency in organization, especially when it comes to quality control and documentation processes.
