Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Service Worker / Housekeeper to join our Rehabilitation Facility team on a full-time basis. Job Responsibilities
The Service Worker/Housekeeper role includes both housekeeping and food service support duties:
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- Collect and dispose of trash and waste materials
- Operate floor care equipment and perform floor maintenance as needed
- Follow safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
- Assist with meal service by heating and serving pre-prepared meals received from an outside vendor
- Support patients and staff by maintaining a clean and organized facility environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services (EVS), or related experience
- Ability to work in a healthcare or rehabilitation facility environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical duties throughout a 12-hour shift
- Ability to walk up to 5 miles during a shift
- Reliable attendance and transportation
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana)
- Must possess a valid Food Handler Card
- Weekend availability required
