Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Autobody Painter with extensive bodywork experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert auto painting and body repair techniques. Your expertise will ensure each vehicle leaves our shop looking flawless, providing exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and custom finishes using paint spraying equipment and hand tools
- Perform bodywork repairs including repairing , panel replacements, weldiing.
- Use buffing machines and detailing tools to achieve a smooth, polished finish that meets high-quality standards
- Conduct auto glass replacements and repairs as needed to ensure safety and vehicle aesthetics
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for auto estimating and customer documentation purposes
- Collaborate with mechanics and other team members on vehicle maintenance, restoration projects, and auto body repairs
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair and painting
- Proficiency with welding techniques and mechanical knowledge related to vehicle repair processes
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, buffing equipment, and paint sprayers
- Strong understanding of auto painting procedures, including surface preparation and finishing techniques
- Experience with auto glass installation, detailing, and auto restoration projects
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with our team.

Pay: $25.56 - $28.00 per hour
