Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant with 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience to support core accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and experience working in complex, fast-paced environments across industries such as manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, utilities, and logistics.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.Lead or support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.Analyze general ledger activity and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions.Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and regulatory filings as needed.Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and documented procedures.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts in partnership with finance leadership.
