Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse and material handling operations. The ideal candidate will have previous sit-down forklift experience and a strong commitment to workplace safety, efficiency, and teamwork

.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations and move finished goods to designated staging areas.
• Position pallets safely in assigned warehouse locations and storage bays.
• Secure loads and verify pallet stability prior to movement.
• Wrap and shrink-wrap pallets as needed.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
