Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted professional nursing license (LPN or RN) required
- Pediatric experience or a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents
- Current CPR and AED certification, with ongoing maintenance throughout employment
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer daily and emergency health care to students under established medical and school policies
- Implement individualized health care plans for students with specific needs
- Monitor and manage medication administration, routine treatments, and first aid
- Maintain accurate health records and support compliance with state and local health regulations
- Provide education to students, families, and school personnel on health and wellness
