Job Responsibilities

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer and dealership vehicles to the highest quality standards.

• Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics to accurately identify vehicle issues.
• Execute repairs and maintenance including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning systems.
• Conduct multi-point quality inspections to identify potential safety or maintenance issues, documenting findings clearly for service advisors.
• Road-test vehicles to verify that repairs have been successfully completed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Stay current on General Motors manufacturer technical updates, bulletins, and training courses.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of automotive repair experience in a dealership or independent shop environment. (Chevrolet/GM experience is a major plus, but not required).
• Certifications: ASE certifications are highly preferred. GM certifications are a distinct advantage.
• Tools: Must possess a personal set of tools adequate to perform daily mechanical duties.
• Skills: Strong diagnostic ability, electrical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
• License: Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Attributes: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
