Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Guthrie, OK. The Welder will perform day-to-day fabrication and repair work, including cutting, fitting, and welding pipe and related components according to specifications. Responsibilities include setting up and operating welding equipment, inspecting materials and welds for quality, and following shop procedures and safety standards. The role involves reading and understanding work orders, measuring and preparing materials, and maintaining tools and work areas in good condition. The Welder will collaborate with shop and yard teams to meet production schedules, support loading and assembly needs, and ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Welding techniques, including experience with structural or pipe welding in a shop or field environment.
  • Skills in MIG Welding with the ability to select appropriate methods based on project requirements.
  • Knowledge of Materials used in pipe and steel fabrication, including understanding of basic metallurgy, joint preparation, and weld compatibility.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols, and to use measuring tools accurately.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and working in various shop conditions.
  • Previous welding experience in an industrial, fabrication, or construction setting; certifications in welding are preferred but not required.
  • Reliable attendance, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
