DENTAL ASSISTANT - BALLWIN FAMILY SMILES
Lumio Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant who can work side‑by‑side with the dentist, providing excellent chairside care to our patients. Whether you have prior experience or are a new student, we welcome applicants.
Hours
Mon‑Tue: 8 AM - 5 PM; Wed‑Thu: 7 AM - 4 PM; Fridays are not scheduled.
Responsibilities
Expose dental diagnostic X‑Ray.
Record treatment information in patient records.
Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
Clean teeth using dental instruments, including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
Qualifications
Experience as a dental assistant or recent dental school graduate; comfort with dental procedures and patient care.
