Senior Accountant

We're partnering with a growing construction-related company seeking a Senior Accountant with strong job costing and Work-in-Progress (WIP) experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operations, project managers, and leadership while owning key accounting functions.

Responsibilitie

• sPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements and support the month-end close
• .Maintain and reconcile Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
• .Review job costing, project profitability, and cost allocations
• .Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• .Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management
• .Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• .Support annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• .Partner with project managers to monitor project performance and cost trends

Qualificatio

• nsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Financ
• e.4+ years of progressive accounting experienc
• e.Strong experience with job costing and WIP accounting is require
• d.Construction, engineering, or project-based industry experience is highly preferre
• d.Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skill
