Hotel Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician performs semi-skilled maintenance and repair services of property or facility systems, such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Duties may increase in scope as the maintenance technician becomes more skilled, but the primary emphasis is the performance of a variety of maintenance tasks rather than a high degree of skill in any particular trade. This position may be skilled in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Hotel, institutional, HVAC systems experience of 2-5 years required.
• Refrigeration, HVAC certification preferred.
• Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems, preventative maintenance systems and all related engineering disciplines.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members.
