Responsibilities
- Greets customers using proper hospitality techniques.
- Maintains the highest standards of consistency and quality in making mixed drinks as ordered.
- Provides customer service for patrons during opening hours and for special functions as scheduled.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the bar, storage room, and dining room to include but not limited to tables and chairs.
- Maintains a neat appearance (clothing and personal).
- Restocks supply areas as necessary for continued operations.
- Functions as own cashier, tenders checks accurately, rings up all transactions, and maintains bank records.
- Ability to use Point of Sale equipment.
- Maintains inventory control accountability:
- receives food and beverage items according to policies and procedures
- maintains accurate counts of levels required for daily service
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
- The duties and responsibilities of this position are not limited to this description and the Bartender/Server may perform a combination of other functions when needed.Equipment / Tools Used

Frequent standing, bending, stooping, climbing, talking, and hearing. Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Required
- Must possess a basic math ability.
- Must be able to operate a point-of-sale computer/cash register system.
- Must be able to physically lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time throughout shift.
- Must be able to prepare and serve snack food when required.
- Must be able to prepare and serve beverages using proper mixology.
- Must have good personal appearance and above average customer service skills.
- Knowledge of wine selections and mixed drink recipes.
- Alcohol awareness skills/training.
- Must be 21 years of age or older due to state laws regarding alcoholic beverages.
Minimum Qualifications
- Work Experience:
One year experience in food and/or beverage service business.
- Bartending and/or serving experience preferred.
- Education:
High School Diploma preferred.
- Some reading, writing, and math skills required.
