Finance and Accounting Manager

We are seeking a versatile and highly analytical Accounting & Finance Manager to support technical accounting, M&A transactions, financial reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who understands U.S. GAAP and can move beyond research and accounting memos to practically implement accounting guidance across the business.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to evaluate complex transactions, perform accounting analyses, support SEC reporting and disclosures, manage M&A accounting activities, and leverage data and technology tools such as Alteryx, Workiva, and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze, and document accounting treatment for complex transactions under U.S. GAAP.
• Support acquisition and divestiture accounting, including fair value assessments and purchase accounting.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda, journal entries, SEC disclosures, and financial statement footnotes.
• Draft and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Corporate Development, and business leaders to evaluate transaction impacts.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Analyze large datasets and leverage technology to improve reporting and decision-making.
• Support external audits by providing accounting analyses and documentation.
• Provide updates and recommendations to senior leadership regarding accounting impacts and project status.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, CIA, MBA, or some designation.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• Experience applying accounting guidance to complex business transactions.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently.
• Experience with Workiva, Alteryx, and other data analytics tools.
• Experience with M&A, acquisition accounting, and divestiture accounting.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools in a corporate environment.
