LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN – $21–$28/hr

Description:

A reputable company is hiring a Low Voltage Electrician to support the installation, termination, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems across commercial job sites. You will be responsible for pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminating cabling while working hands-on with a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to expand your technical skill set in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of low voltage systems including A/V, paging, security, and access control systems.
  • Pull, dress, label, and terminate CAT5/CAT6, fiber, coax, and low voltage cabling.
  • Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, MDF/IDF equipment, and outlets.
  • Run and bend conduit, and perform firestopping as needed.
  • Troubleshoot cabling, terminations, and connectivity issues.

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years of low voltage cable pulling experience.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Experience running and bending conduit.
  • Experience with CAT5/CAT6 terminations and structured cabling.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to jobsite safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with fire alarm, CCTV, security, or access control systems is a plus.
  • Basic troubleshooting and system testing experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
