Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Waste Management/Housekeeper to join our team at The Woodlands at Furman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, managing waste disposal, and ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated disposal areas.
Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
Drive John Deer Gator with trailer to pick up trash cans.
Reports on any repairs needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Reports supply and equipment needs to Housekeeping Supervisor for replenishing.
Duty of servicing Pet Waste Stations and Site trash collection.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions outside (rain, wind, heat, cold).
Uses walk‑behind floor scrubber to clean floors.
Sweeps, mops, dust, and wipes down different areas around the building.
Other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
Previous waste management experience preferred.
Must have valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record.
Must pass background and drug screening.
