Job Title: General Labor / Precast Concrete Laborer
Job Description
This role focuses on loading, unloading, and handling precast concrete materials in an outdoor environment. You perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, while helping ensure the safe storage, preparation, and movement of concrete products. The position requires working outside in direct sun and varying weather conditions, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and supporting daily production needs.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload precast concrete materials safely, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Handle, move, and position concrete products in the yard and work areas as directed.
- Work outdoors in direct sun and all weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety.
- Support the preparation and staging of precast concrete products for production, storage, and shipment.
- Operate basic tools and equipment associated with general labor and concrete handling, following safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
- Collaborate with team members and follow instructions to meet daily production and loading schedules.
- Assist with general construction-related tasks as needed in support of precast operations.
Essential Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to work outdoors under the sun and in various weather conditions for the full shift.
- Experience or comfort with general labor tasks in construction, concrete, or similar environments.
- Reliability in adhering to a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with required Saturday hours.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in Spanish; bilingual Spanish/English is acceptable.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in concrete, construction, or outdoor labor is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions related to precast concrete handling and storage.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work consistently in a physically intensive role.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with coworkers.

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position with standard hours from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and required Saturday work from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The role is primarily outdoors, working under the sun and in varying weather conditions around precast concrete products and construction-related equipment. The environment is physically demanding and production-oriented, with a focus on safety and cleanliness. Appropriate work attire includes durable clothing suitable for outdoor labor and closed-toe work shoes or boots, along with any required personal protective equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
