Accounting & Finance Manager

LHH is partnered with a mid-sized company to identify an Accounting & Finance Manager. The role is primarily on-site, with flexibility for remote work as needed.

This position will play a key role in overseeing the company’s accounting and financial operations, with a strong focus on driving accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with direct exposure to leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, including variance analysis and reporting to leadership
• Oversee inventory accounting and partner with operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across accounting and finance functions
• Support special projects, including system implementations, process enhancements, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support overall business objectives
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
• Strong background in operational accounting and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in an environment with inventory is highly preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with leadership and cross-functional teams
