Supporting US customers in managing mission-critical payroll workflows, the full-time Payroll Technical Support Engineer will combine technical troubleshooting with payroll product expertise to resolve complex issues and ensure accurate payroll processing while working remotely or in a hybrid schedule from NYC. Key responsibilities Investigate and resolve payroll-related escalations, ensuring accurate data flow between systems Advise customers on payroll configurations and best practices, troubleshooting compliance and workflow issues Translate customer payroll challenges into product feedback and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on enhancements Required qualifications 4+ years of technical support experience with payroll applications, HRIS systems, or HR SaaS Strong understanding of payroll systems, data flows, and related business processes Experience in troubleshooting complex customer issues and performing root cause analysis Familiarity with APIs, integrations, webhooks, and SQL/database concepts Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and drive tasks forward
