Fabricator/Welder

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the capability to read and interpret schematics. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for assembling components, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe working environment. *Responsibilities* - Operate hand tools and machinery for metal fabrication tasks. - Perform welding using FCAW techniques on various materials. - Fabricate sheet metal components and ductwork as per specifications. - Utilize plasma cutting equipment for precise cutting of materials. - Assemble fabricated parts and components according to schematics. - Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. - Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. *Experience* - Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding is preferred. - Proficiency in using hand tools, machining equipment, and welding machines. - Familiarity with sheet metal work and ductwork fabrication. - Experience with plasma cutting techniques is a plus. - Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred). - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
