Position Overview
The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse serves as a leader in providing patient-centered care through the nursing process while practicing within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and Nursing Scope & Standards of Practice.
The RN is responsible for:
- Coordinating and delivering quality patient care
- Delegating and directing licensed and ancillary staff
- Supporting positive patient outcomes
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Promoting patient safety and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrating accountability and professional practice standards
Experience RequirementsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
Education RequirementsRequired
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program
- Registered Nurse Diploma
Preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Required Licensure & CertificationsRequired at Submission
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in State of Practice
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CPI Certification (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Supplier Note: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NRP are required at submission.

- Evaluate patient outcomes using data and evidence-based practice
