Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dishwashing using commercial-grade equipment, ensuring all utensils, cookware, and tableware are sanitized according to food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas promptly to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Support food handling and food safety management by adhering to proper hygiene practices during food preparation and service.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dishware, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
- Support catering and banquet events by assisting with basic food prep and serving duties as needed.
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and promote a safe dining experience for guests.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fast-paced environments involving food service or catering.
- Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures, dishwashing techniques, and general kitchen hygiene standards.
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of food handling practices are advantageous.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or banquet setups enhances your ability to support diverse operational needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks efficiently is essential.
- Prior hotel or culinary experience can be beneficial in understanding the demands of hospitality environments.
