Treatment Center for Pain is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our busy pain management practice. We are looking for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.

This position requires proficiency in both front office and back office responsibilities. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, detail-oriented, and works well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Front Office

  • Check patients in and out
  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations
  • Schedule new and follow-up appointments
  • Answer multi-line phones professionally
  • Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
  • Upload insurance cards and patient documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors

Back Office

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs
  • Prepare patients for provider evaluations and procedures
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
  • Assist with in-office pain management procedures
  • Perform urine drug screening collection
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation
  • Stock and maintain exam rooms
  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Current Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of medical assistant experience (Pain Management experience preferred)
  • Experience working in a high-volume medical office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
