Line Cook Opportunity
Branch Line in Watertown, MA is looking for a line cook to join our growing restaurant group. Our ideal candidates are self-driven, ambitious, engaged and passionate about rotisserie chicken.
Branch Line is a neighborhood rotisserie with craveable chef food, craft beverages, confidence and unselfconscious familiarity.
This is a great position for a motivated, organized line cook who wants to develop and fine tune culinary skills in a professional kitchen. Many opportunities for growth within the company!
Line cook responsibilities:
Execute day to day culinary operations
Utilize produce, dairy, seafood & high quality ingredients with pride
Uphold kitchen sanitation standards pertaining to food safety
Assist in the development and protocol around established menu items
Use standardized recipes and plate presentations
Work alongside cooks every day, leading by example
Work with FOH team to create a memorable experience for guests
Contribute to important elements of operations including takeout, delivery, events + catering
Additional lead line cook responsibilities:
Inside expo
Closing prep lists
Leadership of the team by setting an example
Qualifications:
Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking or other related field
Passion for food and cooking techniques
Interest in teamwork and personal growth
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
Lead line cook must have 1+ year in high-volume scratch kitchen
