Job Posting
Perform emergency medical aid and rescue operations, including administering first aid and advanced life support measures. Operate EMS equipment such as cardiac monitor/defibrillators, portable suction units, and other life-saving tools. Conduct patient extrication and provide other necessary assistance at emergency scenes. Operate pumps, lay and connect hoses, and perform fire suppression, containment, ventilation, and extinguishment tasks. Minimum Qualifications include: Must be at least 18 years old, possess a High School Diploma or a GED, have a valid MN Class D driver's license, a State of MN Paramedic Certification, ACLS Certification and must live within 25 minutes of the fire station. Certifications required within two years of hire: Firefighter I & II and Hazardous Materials - Operational Levels
