The Front Office Team Member at our Orthodontic office is essential to maintaining efficient daily operations and delivering outstanding patient service. This role involves managing phone and in-person interactions, scheduling appointments, handling insurance filings, processing payments, and serving as a key contact between patients and the practice. Working within a medium-sized team and reporting to the Practice Manager, this position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally and promptly
- Schedule patient appointments using a third-party system
- Process insurance filings accurately and timely
- Check in patients upon arrival and provide excellent customer service
- Process patient payments and manage transactions
- Maintain clear and effective communication with patients and team members
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative tasks
- Collaborate effectively within a medium-sized (6-10 members) front office team
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in front office administration
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling
- Experience with payment processing
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent telephone communication abilities
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
