The Front Office Team Member at our Orthodontic office is essential to maintaining efficient daily operations and delivering outstanding patient service. This role involves managing phone and in-person interactions, scheduling appointments, handling insurance filings, processing payments, and serving as a key contact between patients and the practice. Working within a medium-sized team and reporting to the Practice Manager, this position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming phone calls professionally and promptly
  • Schedule patient appointments using a third-party system
  • Process insurance filings accurately and timely
  • Check in patients upon arrival and provide excellent customer service
  • Process patient payments and manage transactions
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with patients and team members
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative tasks
  • Collaborate effectively within a medium-sized (6-10 members) front office team

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in front office administration
  • Proficiency in appointment scheduling
  • Experience with payment processing
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone communication abilities
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
