Job Description for Merchandiser Stocker:

As an essential team member at Aramark, your role as a Warehouse Worker involves critical responsibilities in managing product flow effectively. Your tasks include contributing to warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, preparing orders, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications for Merchandiser Stocker:

• Participation is open to adults aged 18 years and older
• High school diploma or GED is preferred
• Preference for individuals with a minimum of two years of warehouse experience
• Core skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic
• Basic computer literacy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in utilizing tools with skilled hand movements
• Able to lift items up to 50 lbs, with frequent handling of loads up to 35 lbs
• Valid driver's license may be required at certain locations; Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted

Physical Demands for Merchandiser Stocker:

• Extended periods of walking and standing
• Repetitive lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Compliance with uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements

Job Responsibilities for Merchandiser Stocker:

• Inspect, verify, and label received supplies; report discrepancies between deliveries and financial documentation
• Organize perishable products using the FIFO method to maintain quality and freshness
• Operate manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts after receiving proper training
• Select and assemble items to fulfill orders for products, supplies, and equipment
• Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to customer sites using carts or motorized vehicles
• Follow scheduled inventory counts and audits
• Maintain accurate records including inventory logs, temperature monitoring, spoilage reporting, and equipment inspections
• Keep warehouse spaces clean and organized, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and elevated platforms
• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, SDS guidelines, and emergency procedures
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Ensure the protection of client and company assets
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients, colleagues, vendors, and guests
• Attend meetings and carry out other assigned duties
