Line Cook - Nordic Brunch

Broder Soder in SW Portland, a busy brunch cafe inside Nordia House, a Nordic cultural center, is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team. We are looking for someone who is able to work Thursday - Monday. There is opportunity for growth, generous gratuities, a shift meal and development opportunities with our experienced Chef: Jake Edgar.Here are a few of the qualifications we are looking for:- 2+ years of experience in a variety of kitchen/restaurant environments- excels at communication and not afraid to ask questions- maintains a respectful attitude towards fellow team members, and is ultimately a team player- maintain standards for food storage, rotation, cleanliness, quality and appearance- attention to detail, especially plating- fast and efficient - this is essential- only candidates that live in the area or have reliable transportation will be considered.Please expect a text message from our leadership team if we are interested in setting up an interview/stage soon.
