This role is essential to promoting clients’ independence, dignity, and overall well-being, whether in their homes or care facilities.**Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ comfort and quality of life.
Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including use of lifts or assistance with beds, chairs, and vehicles.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Assist clients with self-administration of medications, including reminders, prompts, and observation, in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to the healthcare team or family members.
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and recreational activities as necessary.
Maintain accurate daily records of activities, care provided, and client condition updates.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, therapists) to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
