Sage Home Loans Corporation is a digital mortgage lender on a mission to revolutionize the industry by making mortgage simple — and we’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Mortgage Analytics to help lead that charge. In this highly visible role, you will serve as the primary analytical resource for a growing mortgage business — leading a small team of analysts, translating complex data into the insights that shape strategy, and driving AI-powered decisions across Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales, and Executive Planning. You’re someone who thinks like an owner, gets better every day, and thrives in an environment where every second counts. If you have the experience, rigor, and dr ive to help us leave the woodpile higher than we found it, we want you on this team.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor a small team of 1–3 analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, coachability, and continuous improvement — investing in your team the same way Sage invests in you.
Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive growth strategies and decision-making processes — synthesizing and presenting findings in a way that clearly communicates business impact to executive stakeholders.
Serve as a high-level communication partner to stakeholders and executive teams, distilling complex analytical findings into clear, concise narratives that inform strategic decisions at the leadership level.
Manage both day-to-day and strategic operations, including formulating, designing, implementing, and executing strategic initiatives for Sage.
Identify growth opportunities by leveraging data analysis skills to size opportunities and forecast potential avenues for business impact.
Own communication streams with key stakeholders — communicating performance trends, testing ideas, partnership launches, and larger initiatives that will step-change the business’s growth trajectory.
Build and maintain analytical infrastructure that helps us move fast, measure everything, and scale what works.
Champion an agentic, AI-first approach to analytics — identifying opportunities to deploy AI tools and automated workflows that accelerate insight generation, reduce manual lift, and keep the team ahead of the curve.
Own and evolve recapture reporting, tracking returning borrower opportunities and providing the business with the visibility it needs to act quickly and win the right way.
Serve as the analytical hub for Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales, and Executive Planning — partnering deeply with each function to surface the right data at the right time and drive smarter decisions across the business.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in a highly quantitative and analytical environment.
3-5+ years of mortgage or real estate industry experience strongly preferred, with a deep understanding of mortgage sales, lending, and/or real estate transaction processes.
Demonstrated ability to drive decisions and behavior changes through analytical capabilities and data-driven solutions, with the ability to measure and analyze the impact of those solutions.
Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python experience required; experience with SSAS or other database/analysis packages strongly preferred.
Experience with sales software (CRMs, telephony platforms, etc.).
Comfort working in an agentic workplace — you leverage AI tools to work faster and smarter, and you’re curious about how automation and machine learning can amplify the impact of great analytics.
Mortgage industry experience or a deep understanding of mortgage sales and processes preferred.
An ownership mindset — we don’t hire employees, we hire owners. You’ll have a massive impact on a growing business and should treat it like your own.
Passion for working in a fast-paced, often-changing environment, with an inclination to solve new problems and learn new skills every day.
Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
Strong communicator who can work across multiple functions and teams, translating technical findings into clear narratives for any audience.
A growth mindset and strong sense of self-awareness — you’re committed to getting better every day and welcoming feedback as part of that journey.
