Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners as a certified School Speech-Language Pathologist working with preschool and elementary students. This contract opportunity spans from July 27, 2026 to May 21, 2027, with a typical schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Start times are generally at 7:30 AM, ending around 3:30 PM, though these may vary by school.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in helping children develop essential communication and language skills within a supportive school environment. Your expertise will make a tangible difference each day.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license and certification
  • Prior experience with preschool and/or elementary-age students
  • Understanding of IEP process and ability to deliver therapy in a school setting
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to diverse student needs
  • Knowledgeable in speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders

Primary Responsibilities:• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students ages 3-12

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and special education teams
  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies
  • Document sessions, evaluations, and progress in accordance with school requirements
  • Participate in meetings and case conferences as needed
