We are an AI home buying platform built for first-time buyers in California and Texas. The AI does the heavy analysis on what someone can really afford, which neighborhoods and schools fit their life, and what to watch for in an offer or an inspection, so the whole thing feels a lot less confusing than it usually does.

Ficustree was founded by Anand Venkatesh, who has built and scaled $100M ARR products and brings more than 15 years of real estate investing experience. Shaurya led and scaled Sales at proptech company in the past. Our engineering is led by an industry leader in AI and ML. We are backed by NVIDIA Inception.

The role

We are hiring two realtors to work directly with our buyers. You will not be cold calling lists. We have built several lead generation sources, and right now we are bringing in around 100 real buyer leads a month, with thousands more people in our outreach pipeline. These are people who actually want help buying their first home. That volume is why we need two of you.

Your job is to win their trust and help them get to closing. The platform gives both you and the buyer a clear read on the numbers and the tradeoffs. You bring the relationship and the judgment. The two work together, which is the whole point.

Home buying has not really changed in decades. Most of the tools out there were built for listings, search traffic, or commissions. We built Ficustree around the one person everyone else seems to forget, which is the buyer. Every part of the product exists to make a first-time buyer's experience clearer, calmer, and better than what they would get anywhere else.

For you, that means the AI takes on the parts that usually eat an agent's day. It runs the real affordability math, scores neighborhoods and schools against what the buyer actually cares about, and surfaces risks in offers and inspections before they turn into problems. That frees you up for the part no software can do, which is guiding a nervous person to a decision they feel good about.

This is the kind of platform we wish had existed years ago. What you will do

• Call and follow up with warm buyer leads from our platform
• Set up and run home tours
• Run lunch and learn sessions that walk first-time buyers through the process
• Work with our partners, including lenders, inspectors, and partner agents where it helps the buyer
• Use the Ficustree platform with each buyer so they understand the reasoning behind every recommendation
• Help buyers get all the way to closing
• Pitch in on buyer nurturing early on, which winds down as our automation comes online

What we are looking for

• An active real estate license in California. Newly licensed is fine.
• Real enthusiasm for helping first-time buyers
• Curiosity about the process and the industry. You want to understand how all of it fits together.
• The kind of person people trust quickly, especially nervous first-time buyers
• Comfort treating technology as a teammate instead of something to fight

New or experienced both work here. We care more about attitude and trustworthiness than years on the job.

Compensation

• Commission at closing
• After your first 5 closings, you become eligible to convert to full-time with a base salary plus bonus
• We will work through the full-time package and equity at conversion

Where and how

• Two openings
• California first (Bay Area & LA)
• Remote-friendly, but you will meet buyers and run tours in your local market
