Position Summary
The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders in a food manufacturing environment. This role ensures all orders meet quality, food safety, and delivery standards while supporting a fast-paced e-commerce operation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a production or warehouse setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the major functions of this position and are not intended to be a detailed description of all the work/functions that may be required. Other duties may be assigned. Individual will work a varied schedule based on client needs.
- Pick, pack, and prepare e-commerce orders accurately according to customer, retailer, and shipping requirements
- Verify product codes, lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities to ensure order accuracy and traceability
- Package products following food safety, quality, and brand standards
- Label orders correctly, including shipping labels, compliance labels, and special handling instructions
- Coordinate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and inventory rotation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fulfillment and packing areas
- Comply with all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation requirements
- Use ERP system, e-commerce platforms, or shipping software to process orders as needed
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation as needed
- Report damaged, missing, or non-conforming product to leadership promptly
- Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and shipping deadlines

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- 1+ year of order fulfillment, warehouse, or e-commerce experience preferred but not required
- Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments a plus
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with order processing systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
