Surgical Technologist II

The Surgical Technologist II assists a team of medical professionals in providing surgical care under the supervision of an RN.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintains asepsis by ensuring sterile equipment does not contact unsterile surfaces.
• Observes and reports patient health changes to adapt care plans as needed.
• Performs basic scrub duties and prepares the operating table for procedures.
• Gathers supplies and checks equipment for surgery readiness.
• Verifies patient health data with the circulating nurse and records conditions.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
