School Nurse (RN/LPN) – 1:1 Student Care
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay:
- Registered Nurse (RN): $35–$42/hour
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $30–$35/hour
- Pay is based on experience.
Position Overview
We're seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for medically complex students in a school setting. This position involves supporting a students healthcare needs while ensuring their health, safety, and success throughout the school day.

Responsibilities
Support students with conditions such as:
- Seizure disorders (Diastat administration)
- Tracheostomy care
- G-tube feedings
- Type 1 diabetes management (insulin injections, pump support)
- Administer medications and follow structured care plans
- Ensure a safe, healthy environment within the school setting
- Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, and the clinical support team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license required
- Experience with catheterization preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Pediatric, school nursing, home health, or private duty nursing experience is a plus
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care
