The Opportunity

At InCharge, our success is built on operational excellence and strong leadership at every level. We're looking for a  General Manager to lead the day-to-day sales and revenue generation of our Sales Service office. This is a strategic leadership role reporting into the Head of Branch Operations that is focused on driving service and construction revenue, growing a sustainable backlog, and maintaining accountability to monthly and annual gross margin goals. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, streamline sales-to-operations workflows, and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture as you drive InCharge’s growth across your designated region.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue and margin growth across all business lines including EV Charging, Lighting and Electrical, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Solar, and HVAC Equipment Electrical Installations

Oversee full P L ownership including revenue, margin, budgeting, and cost control, while ensuring the branch meets or exceeds its financial targets

Drive strong customer relationship management with key customers, vendors, distributors, and partners through quick response times, timely resolution of service escalations, quarterly service reviews, and continuous improvement

Actively manage labor resource planning by aligning technician headcount with your branch project pipeline

Track key operational KPIs, including tech productivity and utilization, backlog health, job costing, margin, and customer satisfaction

Provide operational leadership for the entire branch staff, including office personnel and technicians. You will direct all day-to-day branch operations including scheduling, dispatch, field service execution, and workflow efficiency

Manage the workforce development at the branch level, including recruiting, training, and developing technicians, supervisors, and office personnel. You will set performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations

Maintain a strategic growth and business development mindset to identify new service opportunities, market segments, and revenue streams. Ensure branch alignment with corporate strategy and industry trends

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Support and grow the field services, engineer and project teams through process improvement and quality assurance for customer contracts

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure compliance and execution

Manage general conditions including inventory, materials, environmental controls, and field coordination.

Your Experience Capabilities

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, operations management, engineering, or equivalent work experience

5+ years of progressive leadership experience in branch operations, construction management, electrical services, industrial services, maintenance operations, or related industries

Proven success managing overall branch performance, including operational execution, financial results, customer satisfaction, safety, and workforce development

Demonstrated experience establishing, growing, or leading a new branch, business unit, or market presence from startup phase through sustainable growth

Strong business acumen with experience managing P L performance, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control initiatives

Experience developing and executing strategic growth plans, including business development, customer acquisition, market expansion, and revenue growth initiatives

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across field operations, project management, sales, and administrative functions

Strong leadership presence with the ability to build organizational culture, drive accountability, and foster employee engagement in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to effectively engage customers, vendors, employees, and executive leadership

US Salary Range

$130,000 $150,000 USD
