Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Tech II to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Maintenance Tech II, you’ll support production equipment repairs and upgrades, perform general and preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability across the plant. You’ll join an expansion‑stage organization, build talent and culture from the ground up, and may travel to other locations during the early months of the role.

Shift: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at first, then transition to a 12‑hour shift after training.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety procedures and promote a culture of safety.
  • Work collaboratively to drive our “people first” culture.
  • Repair and maintain all mechanical and electrical systems on site.
  • Learn and troubleshoot programmable logic controls and ladder logic.
  • Fabricate metal, machine, and weld as required.
  • Support engineering in product and process improvement.
  • Participate in housekeeping to keep the plant safe and presentable.
  • Attend additional duties as required by the department lead or manager.

Experience

2‑4 years of industrial maintenance experience required. High School Diploma (or GED) and mechanical aptitude with welding experience required. An associate degree in industrial maintenance is a plus. Prior experience as a Maintenance Lead or Specialist is highly desirable.

Must be able to wear required PPE, lift at least 50 pounds, and attend off‑site training classes (1–2 weeks per year, with notice).
