Non‑CDL Box Truck Driver / Sheet Metal Shop Helper

Location: Baltimore, MD

A busy and growing sheet metal company in Baltimore is seeking a reliable, motivated individual to join our team in a hybrid role: part‑time Non‑CDL Box Truck Driver and Sheet Metal Shop Helper. This position includes operating a 24' and 16' box truck for deliveries, along with assisting in our fabrication shop when not on the road.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company box trucks to deliver materials and personnel across the Baltimore metro area
• Load and unload materials using pallet jacks and other shop equipment
• Perform basic fabrication and shop support tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, tools, and workspaces
• Understand and assist with common shop inventory items
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure timely deliveries and efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVA driving record
• Experience driving small to mid‑size box trucks
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial driving experience
• Familiarity with GPS navigation
• Experience using pallet jacks or warehouse equipment
