Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Home Care Provider role based in Schaumburg, IL. The Home Care Provider will assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as well as support with mobility and safe transfers. Daily responsibilities include helping with light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and basic errands as needed. The role involves observing and reporting changes in clients’ condition, following individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Home Care Provider will build trusting relationships with clients, promote their independence, and collaborate with supervisors and family members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong caregiving and home care skills, with experience supporting clients in a residential or home setting.
  • Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and families.
  • Candidates should possess personal care and elder care skills, including assistance with activities of daily living and age-appropriate support.
  • Relevant skills and qualifications include reliability, attention to safety, ability to follow care plans, and basic record-keeping skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; prior experience in home care, assisted living, or related settings is beneficial.
  • Ability to meet any applicable state requirements, such as background checks, training, and health clearances.
