Primary Teacher (K–2) – Georgia Certified | Full-Time

Legacy Heights Academy is hiring a Full-Time Primary Teacher (K–2) for July 2026. We are seeking a Georgia-certified educator who is passionate about early literacy, foundational math, and building strong classroom routines that support student growth.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Start Date: July 2026

Work Location: In-person, Augusta, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction for K–2 students
• Build strong classroom culture, routines, and positive behavior supports with Christian principles
• Teach and reinforce foundational skills (phonics, reading, writing, math)
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
• Use assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction
• Communicate consistently and professionally with families and school leadership
• Maintain accurate student records and required documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade
• Training/experience in early literacy instruction and intervention

Compensation

• Hourly pay, based on experience and qualifications
