• Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards
• Assist with order picking and packing using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining warehouse stock levels through inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
• Operate cranes and other mechanical tools for heavy lifting and materials handling in manufacturing or construction environments
• Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments, completing documentation, and coordinating with warehouse management systems
• Conduct regular warehouse inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper storage practices
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or equivalent
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers with certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control procedures, and materials handling techniques
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate mechanical tools safely and effectively
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during stocking, order picking, packing, and load/unload tasks
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving or manufacturing environments is a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations is highly desirable
