Home Health Aide - In Home Caregiver (Spanish bilingual)

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home health aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

CURRENT POSITION IS IN LAKEWOOD for an elderly person that requires a bilingual SPANISH speaker as well as English for proper translations. Monday - Thursday 2pm-7pm

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Monitor clients' health by observing and reporting any changes in their condition to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support mobility by assisting clients with walking or transferring from one location to another.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of geriatric care principles and practices is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet any required health screenings before employment.
