Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, onsite school-based opportunity in the Lorain, Ohio area. This position will support K–8 students in a collaborative educational environment focused on improving student access, independence, and functional performance in the classroom.

This is a great opportunity for an Occupational Therapist looking for a manageable part-time caseload while making a meaningful impact on student development across a school setting.

Position Details

Part-Time: Up to 12 hours per week

2026–2027 school year

Onsite services

K–8 student population

Caseload: Approximately 18 students

Service requirement: 3,260 minutes per quarter

Caseload and schedule may vary based on school needs

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, and functional classroom skills

Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications Required

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Ohio Occupational Therapist License or eligibility to obtain licensure

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Preferred

Previous school-based occupational therapy experience

Experience working with K–8 students

Knowledge of IEP development and implementation

Experience with sensory integration strategies and adaptive equipment
