The Staff Pad has partnered with a rapidly growing
roofing and exterior restoration company to identify an experienced Sales
Manager to lead, develop, and support a team of sales professionals for its
Des Moines, IA location.
This role is ideal for a proven roofing sales leader
who thrives on coaching others, building winning teams, and driving consistent
results.
The Sales Manager will play a critical role in
recruiting, training, mentoring, and supporting sales representatives while
ensuring exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
What You'll Do
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new
Roofing Consultants and sales team members
- Provide hands -on field training,
ride -alongs, and ongoing coaching to help team members develop confidence and
sales proficiency
- Lead and motivate a team of sales
professionals while fostering a positive, accountable, and high -performance
culture
- Conduct regular team meetings,
one -on -one coaching sessions, performance reviews, and sales trainings
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline
performance, and individual production to ensure team goals are achieved
- Support representatives during
inspections, customer meetings, and complex sales situations when needed
- Serve as a resource for resolving
customer concerns and removing obstacles that may impact the customer
experience
- Collaborate with operations, production,
and administrative teams to ensure projects move smoothly from contract through
completion
- Establish and reinforce consistent sales
processes, best practices, and performance expectations
- Recognize team achievements and create
an environment centered around growth, development, and success
- Assist with territory growth initiatives
and help identify opportunities to increase market presence
- Act as a key communication bridge
between leadership and the sales team, ensuring alignment and accountability
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- 2 -3 years of roofing industry sales
experience or 1 -3 years of sales management experience
- Proven track record of meeting or
exceeding sales goals
- Experience leading, mentoring, or
coaching sales professionals
- Strong understanding of residential
roofing sales, inspections, insurance restoration, or related home service
sales environments
- Ability to develop new sales
representatives through structured coaching and field training
- Excellent communication, leadership, and
interpersonal skills
- Strong problem -solving abilities and
customer -service mindset
- Ability to effectively manage multiple
priorities in a fast -paced environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to
travel throughout the assigned market
