LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Location: North Shore Animal Hospital - Bayside, NY

Wage Range: $28.00 - $34.00 /hr.

Must hold a valid New York Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) state license.

Our state‑of‑the‑art facility features three dedicated DVMs and an experienced support team committed to the highest standards of care. We provide top‑of‑the‑line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as an in‑house laboratory and ultrasonography.

Your Role - Clinical Driver & Leader

Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.

Dentistry: Full‑mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).

Diagnostics: High‑quality radiography/positioning, in‑house lab analysis, and sample collection.

Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.

Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.

Schedule: Full‑time with flexible scheduling options (choose 4 ten‑hour or 5 eight‑hour shifts) and a predictable weekend rotation.
