Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist will manage payroll processing, vendor payments, and compliance reporting in a 100% remote environment. Key responsibilities Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll summaries and maintain accurate payroll records Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping Drive improvements in payroll systems and oversee year-end payroll reporting and compliance Required qualifications 5+ years of senior experience in Payroll and Accounts Payable Expertise in US payroll processes, including W-2s, 1099s, and K-1s Strong experience with payroll systems and state tax filings Proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem resolution Experience in professional services or start-up environments preferred
