You could also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning your delivery truck to keep it in good condition, which would require some knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair

As a part of the Sales Team, the Local Delivery Driver is responsible for sale and distribution of products on designated routes in a continuous effort to provide superior customer service and maximize sales & volume growth through developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. The Route Sales Driver also ensures product availability at accounts, including ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, displays and vendors are completely filled according to Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards.

Essential duties and responsibilities are the crucial tasks and obligations that must be performed by an individual to maintain the operational integrity of an organization

  • Expand the scale of business in the assigned accounts by selling products, arranging distribution channels, conducting exhibits, and executing promotional activities.
  • The routine involves the sale and distribution of products to specific customers each day.
  • CCBCHC regulations should be taken into consideration when stocking all accounts.
  • As per the accounts' demands, transfer, modify, and maintain Point of Sale advertising.
  • Perform daily checks and balances to ensure proper recording of product, cash, and asset activity.
  • Facilitating the expedient and accurate collection of payments owed through a strategic invoicing process.
  • Develop lasting relationships with account staff and deliver outstanding customer service to every account by means of regular contact, swift resolution of issues, and effective follow-up.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and neatness of all CCBCHC items and tools in assigned accounts.
  • Keep the backroom well-organized and manage trade breakage for designated clients efficiently.
  • Adhere to the CCBCHC guidelines for conducting vehicle and load inspections before driving.
  • Strive for consistency in maintaining CCBCHC's quality assurance policies in every account.
  • Creating a danger-free work environment is essential for employee welfare.
  • Create and maintain stable and professional relationships with team members and customers.
  • Keep abreast of the products, marketing efforts, and financial achievements of your rivals.
  • Adherence, compliance, and enforcement must be given to all guidelines, rules, protocols, and systems.
  • Upholding promises made to customers and colleagues involves fulfilling obligations within the agreed timeframe.

  • Competence in handling a cart equipped with two or four wheels.
  • Ability to effectively operate and control various power trucks used in manufacturing.
  • It is expected that the aspiring candidate would obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of joining the team.
  • The cornerstone requirement for this vacancy is that the candidate must be proficient in operating a tractor-trailer requiring a Class A CDL, must follow all CDL guidelines, and have a driving record that conforms to the guidelines set forth by the CCBCHC.
