Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (Caldera Care) is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Therapy team! If you have experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab settings, we want to hear from you.
Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00 DOE
Schedule: PRN (as needed / flexible hours)

Key Responsibilities:
•
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
•
Treat residents with musculoskeletal, neurological, balance, and mobility impairments
•
Assist with gait training, transfers, strengthening, and therapeutic exercises
•
Complete required documentation including progress notes, recertifications, and discharge summaries
•
Perform resident screenings (new admissions and change in condition)
•
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
•
Ensure compliance with Medicare, OBRA, infection control, and regulatory standards
•
Communicate effectively with therapy team, nursing staff, residents and families
•
Maintain productivity standards and coordinate scheduling of assigned caseload
•
Support staff education and in-services as needed
Qualifications:
•
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
•
Current Washington State PTA license required
•
Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred
•
Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and therapy documentation requirements
•
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
•
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
•
Basic computer skills and EMR documentations experience preferred
•
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical job duties
