Occupational Therapist School Setting in Saint Paul, MN

Make an impact supporting elementary students as an Occupational Therapist during the 2026-2027 school year. In this on-site contract role, youll be part of a collaborative group of OTs who work together to determine caseloads and assignments before each school year begins. Most of the services are directed toward elementary-aged students, offering the chance to focus your expertise where its needed most.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate with other OTs and staff
• Comfortable working fully on-site throughout the assignment (no remote options)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Positive approach to supporting students functional and educational goals

Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services to students on-site, focusing primarily on elementary schools
• Participate in pre-year meetings to help divide caseloads among OTs
• Assess and document students needs, progress, and outcomes
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students IEP goals
• Maintain records according to school and state guidelines
• Adapt interventions to help students develop skills for academic and daily living success

This position offers a school-year schedule from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, working 37.5 hours per week on campus in a collaborative school district near Saint Paul, MN.
