Lead Apartment Maintenance Technician - Up to $29/hr + Monthly Bonuses

The Solomon Organization has an opening for a Lead Apartment Maintenance Technician to join the team at Ravinia Apartments. Looking for a seasoned maintenance professional with 3+ years of experience preferably in the home/apartment maintenance field. Ideal candidates will have an eye for detail, commitment to delivering superior customers service, and work well to meet property and company goals. Candidates with current certifications are preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists with the diagnosing and repair of resident service requests
• Handles "on call" and snow removal duties on an as-needed basis
• Assists with apartment make-readies
• Assists in maintaining curb appeal
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Must own some basic tools for use on the job

Must have own transportation to move around the community

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work full time 40 hours per week
• 2-3 years actual hands on experience
• Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency
• A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business disciplines
• HVAC certification preferred
• Rotating On Call w/stipend

PHYSICAL DEMANDS IN ADDITION TO THOSE LISTED ABOVE:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Position requires bending, lifting, kneeling, twisting, and performing installations at awkward angles. Work environment may include loud noises, dust, dirt, and minor hazards.
